Alexandros Stathas is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ecole centrale de Nantes since February 2022, focusing on multiscale and multi-physics problems. Previously, from July 2019 to December 2021, Alexandros served as a Doctoral Researcher, working on the project "CoQuake," which involved numerical modeling of earthquake faults and was funded by the ERC. Alexandros completed a PhD in Multiscale Numerical Modeling of Earthquake Faults at Centrale Nantes from 2018 to 2021, and holds an MSc in Structural Design and Analysis of Structures from the National Technical University of Athens, obtained in 2018. Alexandros also earned a degree from the National Technical University of Athens between 2011 and 2016.
