Alison Andre is the Program Assistant at EcoHealth Alliance. Alison previously worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Health and Policy from June 2016 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for setting up meetings, booking travel, organizing paperwork and filing, completing expense reports, travel authorization forms, and timesheets, and supporting program staff with writing and editing of subcontracts and follow-up with invoicing, payments, receipts, and accounting reports. Alison also assisted with project reporting to funders and tracking of project milestones and timelines, as well as grant application processes including reviewing guidelines, organizing necessary materials, preparing biographical sketches and budget forms. Additionally, they conducted minute taking and draft agendas for meetings.
Prior to their role at EcoHealth Alliance, Alison served as the Youth Services Network Coordinator at University Settlement Society of New York from September 2014 to June 2015. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating services for youth ages 13-24 who were involved in the juvenile justice system. Alison also served as the Youth and Families Coordinator at University Settlement Society of New York from September 2011 to June 2015, where they were responsible for providing direct service and support to youth and families in need. Lastly, Alison was a Summer Facilitator at Global Potential in 2009, where they facilitated workshops on leadership development for youth ages 14-18.
Alison Andre received their BSW from Siena College, where they studied social work and psychology. Alison then attended Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service, where they earned their MSW with a specialization in client-centered management and global service. Alison is currently pursuing a PhD in social work at the Center for Global Education.
