Esther Ko began their work experience in 2005 as a Consultant in Project Management at Celerity. Esther then joined Capital One in 2009 and held various roles, including Manager of Project Management and Senior Manager of Digital Program Management. Following their time at Capital One, they took a travel/study sabbatical from 2017 to 2019, during which they completed a solo world trip and studied Spanish. In 2019, Esther joined Orium as a Product Manager & Strategist, where they worked with enterprise clients to develop user-centric digital products. Esther later took on the role of Senior Product Manager at ecobee in 2022.

Esther Ko has a Bachelor's of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, where they studied Economics, Management, and French Language and Literature. In addition to their degree, Esther has obtained several certifications including Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance, Contentful Certified Professional from Contentful, DELE Level B2 (High intermediate) (Diploma in Spanish as a foreign language) from Instituto Cervantes, DELF Level 1 (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) from Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP), and PMP® (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute.
