Heather Magenta

Senior Designer at eCity Interactive

Heather Magenta is a senior designer at eCity Interactive. Heather previously served as a senior graphic designer at The George Washington University from September 2016 to December 2019. In this role, Heather was responsible for visualizing and prototyping website mockups using Adobe Photoshop, developing email templates using Adobe Dreamweaver, cutting and prepping images for web, and planning, designing, andconceptualizing layouts and interior elements for office spaces such as signage, wall murals, plaques, vinyl decals, doorways, and windows.

Heather has also worked as an interactive graphic designer at Vovéo Marketing Group from April 2015 to September 2016, where they were responsible for brand development, management, and evolution (logo and campaign design), illustrating for eBooks and other pieces of print and digital collateral including but not limited to postcards, posters, mailers, pull-up banners, show booths, whitepapers, fliers, and more. Additionally, Heather produced style guides and created logo packages for client use, developed and stylized editable PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents for client use, and prepared files for print production.

Prior to their work in the marketing and design industry, Heather worked as a studio assistant and graphic design intern at Mata Designs/Blake Sculpture from September 2014 to September 2016.

Heather Magenta has a Master's of Professional Studies in User Experience Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Heather also has a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic and Interactive Design from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Heather Magenta also has a certification from UserTesting in UserTesting Partnered Course as well as a certification from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Protecting Human Research Participants. Finally, Heather Magenta has a certification from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in RAMP server + seller Training (Responsible Alcohol Management Program).
