Tarik Akyuz is an experienced Application Engineer at ECG Management Consultants since November 2019, previously serving in Technical Services at Epic from September 2017 to April 2019, focusing on cardiology applications. Tarik has a background in research, having conducted studies on polyethylene oxide and polycaprolactone at Case Western Reserve University in early 2017. Additional experience includes a co-op position at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, where research on macromolecular simulations was undertaken, along with hands-on work at PolymerPlus LLC on co-extrusion of nanolaying systems. Tarik has also been a Teaching Assistant for Java and Circuit Labs at Case Western Reserve University during 2014 and 2015. Tarik holds a Bachelor of Science in Polymer/Plastics Engineering with a concentration in Biomaterials from Case Western Reserve University, completed in 2017.
