Mario Farias-Elinos has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mario started their career as a System Development professional at Universidad La Salle in 1991. Mario then moved on to Softtek, where they worked as a Network Computer Support specialist. Mario Farias-Elinos has a strong educational background in the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, and computer security. Mario obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Security and Image Processing from the Centro de Investigacion y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc. in Computer Science, specializing in Computer Security and Computer Distributed systems, also at the Centro de Investigacion y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN from 1995 to 1997. Mario Farias-Elinos began their academic journey by earning their B.Sc. in Cybernetics and Computer Systems Engineering, with a focus on Computer Security, from the Universidad La Salle, A.C. from 1989 to 1995.
Throughout their career, Mario Farias-Elinos has also obtained various certifications related to cybersecurity.
