Brittany Thornton is an experienced educator currently serving as a Lead Classroom Teacher at Harlem Village Academies since August 2023, where responsibilities include developing engaging lessons and assessing student progress. Brittany also works as a Summer School Teacher at Catapult Learning and has held tutoring positions at EBL Coaching and Seventh Street Tutoring. Previous roles include a Summer School Lead Teacher at Talent Prep, several teaching positions within the NYC Department of Education, and a First Grade Teacher at Chang Learning Center. Brittany holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood and Art Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education from Brooklyn College, complemented by an Associate's Degree in Educational Studies from Kingsborough Community College.
