Michal Baran is an experienced IT professional with a strong focus on storage management and administration. Currently serving as the Storage Team Lead and Storage Administrator at the European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI since April 2017, Michal has previously held positions as a SAN/NAS Administrator at Merlin Information Systems Limited and as a Senior Storage Engineer at both GlaxoSmithKline and ACS. Michal began a career in storage administration at Slovak Telekom, contributing from 1995 to 2006. Michal's educational background includes a degree from Technical University Kosice, obtained between 1986 and 1991.
