Matthew Eisaman has a varied and impressive work experience. Matthew is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Ebb Carbon, a company that focuses on atmospheric carbon dioxide removal using electrochemistry. Prior to this, they held the role of Associate Professor at Stony Brook University, where they also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and had a secondary appointment in the Physics Department. Matthew also worked as a Technical Consultant and Technical Lead at X, the moonshot factory, where they were involved in projects related to creating carbon-neutral liquid fuel using renewable energy, seawater, and electrochemistry. Matthew was also employed as a Physicist at Brookhaven National Laboratory and an Applied Physicist at PARC. Matthew started their career as an NRC/NIST Postdoctoral Research Associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Matthew Eisaman began their education in 1996 at Princeton University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics. Matthew completed their undergraduate studies in 2000. Following this, they enrolled in Harvard University and obtained a Ph.D. in Physics, completing their doctoral studies in 2006. Throughout their education, Matthew focused on the field of study in Physics.
