Thanachai Thanasart has extensive work experience in various finance and strategy roles. Thanachai is currently the Country Head of Finance and Corporate Strategy at Eastspring Investments. Prior to this, they worked at LH Bank as the Head of People Group, where they managed HR functions, led organizational transformation, and implemented HR strategies. Thanachai also held the role of Head of CEO Office at LH Bank.

Before joining LH Bank, Thanachai worked at TMB Bank PCL, where they held multiple roles such as Acting Head of Retail Omni Channel Sales Management, Team Head of SME Banking Sales Management and Quality Assurance, Team Head of SME Sales Management and Training, and Team Head of Retail Banking Sales Management and Quality Assurance.

Thanachai also worked at dtac as the Head of Retail & Wholesale Channel Strategy, and at Standard Chartered Bank as the Vice President of Performance & Capital Management and VP of Group Project and Reporting. Thanachai started their career at DTAC as a Finance Business Partner for the Technology Group. Thanachai also gained experience at Danone as an Assistant Finance and Treasury Manager, at TIPCO FOOD GROUP as a Financial Analyst, and at Procter & Gamble as an Initiatives Planner.

Thanachai Thanasart completed their Master of Economics in Business Economics from the National Institution of Development Administration from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance from Kasetsart University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, Thanachai Thanasart has also obtained several certifications. These include the Board Nomination and Compensation Program (BNCP) from the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) in December 2021, the Young Banker Executive 22 certification from the Thai Institute of Banking and Finance Association in September 2014, and the Corporate Governance for Executives (CGE) certification and Director Accreditation Program (DAP) from the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD).
