Shaun Baker possesses extensive experience in the firefighting and emergency medical services sectors, currently serving as Secretary for IAFF Local 1762 since October 2022. Shaun has been a Professional Firefighter/EMT with Eastside Fire & Rescue since January 2020 and previously held similar roles at KING COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT #27 from February 2012 to January 2020, where Shaun also served as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Data Technician with the City of Seattle from July 2006 to November 2015. Shaun holds an Associate of Science degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Columbia Southern University and has completed training at the Washington State Fire Training Academy and Western Nevada College.
