Wanda Hill is Vice President of U.S. Regulatory Affairs within GlaxoSmithKline’s global regulatory affairs organization.
A graduate of Howard University College of Pharmacy, Wanda also holds a law degree with a concentration in healthcare law. Her extensive career in the pharmaceutical industry includes years with AstraZeneca and Merck, and she gained experience in various roles including drug information and policy development with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists where she was the first-named editor for the Practice Standards of ASHP.
She led the regulatory and legal affairs group for The Degge Group, leading a key project for the Veterans Health Administration, and has significant experience with the FDA’s Office of Prescription Drug Promotion, collaborating with its leadership to deliver training on the principles of advertising and promotion regulation. As part of her legal training, she was an associate editor for The Journal of Healthcare Law and Policy and is an Asper Fellow at the FDA, Division of Drug Marketing, Advertising, and Community.
