Sarah Bixler serves as the Associate Dean of the Seminary and Assistant Professor of Formation and Practical Theology at Eastern Mennonite University since August 2019. Previous experience includes positions at Princeton Theological Seminary, where Sarah held roles as Assistant to the Director for the Center for Church Planting and Revitalization, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Editorial Assistant from May 2016 to June 2019. Sarah's early career featured work as Conference Coordinator for Virginia Mennonite Conference, Associate Residence Director at Eastern Mennonite University, Gather 'Round Curriculum Writer for Brethren Press, Youth Minister at Zion Mennonite Church, and Middle School Teacher at Eastern Mennonite School. Sarah Bixler earned a PhD in Practical Theology and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, as well as a BA in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Eastern Mennonite University.
