Zakary Schay is a dedicated Physical Education and Health Education Teacher at Wayzata Public Schools since August 2021, responsible for designing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and maintaining an effective classroom environment. Prior to this role, Zakary gained valuable experience as a student teacher and served as a teacher at SeeSaw DayCare Center, where physical education activities were planned for students aged 2-12. Additional experience includes positions as an assistant track and field coach at Burlington Central High School, athletic coordinator at Hampshire Township Park District, and event assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Zakary holds a Bachelor of Education in Physical Education and Health Education from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
