Stephen Gilbert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in charity management and governance. Currently serving as an independent member of the Audit and Governance Committee at Eastbourne Borough Council since April 2022, Stephen also operates as a charity consultant, providing expertise in strategic planning and governance since 2016. Previously, Stephen held the role of Chief Executive and Secretary at The Printing Charity from June 2003 to January 2016, leading a sizable organization established in 1827. Additional roles include chairing the IT Advisory Board at the Royal Society of Medicine and managing non-clinical operations at St Wilfrid's Hospice from May 1998 to June 2003. Stephen's educational background includes a Master's degree in Charity Accounting and Financial Management from London South Bank University.
