Amy Li has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. XiaoMing (Amy) started their career as a Software Engineer Coop at Propaganda Games in 2007 and then worked as a Programmer at Atomic Robot Games in 2008. In 2010, they joined Simon Fraser University as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant until 2012.

Continuing their professional journey, Amy worked as a Research Software Developer at PDFTron Systems Inc. from 2011 to 2012. XiaoMing (Amy) then pursued a Visual Analytics Certificate at the Vancouver Institute for Visual Analytics (VIVA) from 2015 to 2016.
