Amber Skillern has over 25 years of experience in education and compliance within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Reliability Standards Compliance Program Manager at East Kentucky Power Cooperative since July 2008, Amber has held several roles focused on promoting a culture of compliance with NERC Reliability Standards. Previous positions include Metering Data Coordinator, where Amber was responsible for the processing and analysis of meter data. Prior to joining East Kentucky Power Cooperative, Amber worked as a Computer Teacher at St. Agatha Academy and a Business/Computer Teacher in Clark County Public Schools, Kentucky. Amber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education and Data Processing from Eastern Kentucky University between 1992 and 1997.
