Doug Loew began their work experience in 1985 at Ferguson Enterprises, where they held various roles including Operations Manager, Location Manager, and Sales. Doug worked there until October 2009. In 2012, they joined East Coast Metal Distributors as the Director of Supply Chain. Doug then moved up to Vice President of Operations in January 2014 and eventually became President/COO in October 2016.

Doug Loew obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Lynchburg. Doug attended the university from 1981 to 1985.
