Kendra Strey currently serves as Communications and Outreach Manager at East Bay Regional Park District since December 2024. Previously, Kendra held the position of Director of Communications at Hope Hospice, where a significant achievement included the implementation of the organization's first multichannel digital marketing strategy, leading to a 157 percent increase in website traffic within the first year. Kendra has also served as Communications Manager for the Marina del Rey Convention & Visitors Bureau and was Editor in Chief for Texas Journey magazine at the Automobile Club of Southern California. Kendra began a career in journalism as a reporter for McKeesport Daily News and gained experience in book publishing as an assistant editor at BowTie Inc. Kendra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Point Loma Nazarene University and completed the Leadership Academy at LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce.
