Melody Rooshen is an experienced program manager currently focusing on equitable grantmaking for arts and culture, racial and social justice, and community organizing at the East Bay Community Foundation since November 2019. Prior experience includes coordinating leadership recruiting efforts at Facebook, managing grant applications and community relationships at Muslim Advocates, and sales achievements at Yelp. Melody's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Middle East concentration from the University of California, Riverside, supplemented by studies in Washington, DC. Additional roles have included teaching English and various positions in educational and congressional environments.
