Bo Kofod has had a diverse work experience since 2018. In that year, they were a Student Employee at Orbicon and University of Copenhagen, and a Deputy Chairman at the DSL Student Council. In 2019, they were a Pilot in Droneflyvning - 1A at WeFly, a Forest Ranger at the Danish Nature Agency, Ministry of Environment and Food, and a Boardmember, Member of Steering Group, Member of Advisory Board of ILLP, and a Delegate at UN COP 14, on Combating Desertification (UNCCD) at Initiatives of Change. In 2020, they were a Director of Caron Engineering - MRV, Head of Carbon Engineering and Remote Sensing, and Manager of Forest Carbon Engineering at Earthbanc, and a Statistisk assistent at Dansk Træforening.

Bo Kofod has a diverse educational background. In 2013, they completed their STX at Odsherred Gymnasium, where they studied Biotechnology (Primary), Chemistry (Primary), Math (Primary), Physics (Secondary), and German (Secondary). In 2017, they obtained a Prof. Bach. (PB) in Forestry and Landscape Engineering from Forestry-school of Nødebo. In 2019, they obtained a Drone Pilot - 1A certification from WeFly. In the same year, they completed the Ambassador Programme 2020 from Climate Interactive, where they studied EN-ROADS - Climate Simulations. In 2021, they began their MSc. Klimaforandringer at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen and is due to complete this degree in 2023. Bo also began their MSc in Climate Change at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2021 and is due to complete this degree in 2022. In 2017, they obtained a hygiene proof of food and game handling certification from Fødevarestyrelsen.
