Sivakumar Varadarajan

Chief Operating Officer and Co Founder at Earth Rhythm

Sivakumar Varadarajan has worked in the banking industry since 1978. Sivakumar began their career at Andhra Bank, where they held the role of Senior Manager for 20 years and won awards and accolades as the Best Branch Head in the region, zone, and in the entire bank in 1984. Sivakumar then joined HDFC Bank in 1998, where they held the roles of Cluster Head/State Head for Tamil Nadu, Head, and Branch Head. Sivakumar was adjudged the Best Branch Head in the country in 2003 and the Best Cluster Pan India in 2005/2006 for performance in Insurance and overall all-round performance. In 2004, they were State Head/Cluster Head for Rest of Tamilnadu at HDFC Bank. After that, they joined ABN Amro Bank NV in 2006 as Consumer Banking Head. In the same year, they joined Royal Bank of Scotland as National Head - Business Banking - Relationship Channel, Vice President & National Head, Vice President & Regional Head, Vice President & Regional Head, and Vice President & Consumer Banking Head. Most recently, they were Chief Operating Officer at Earth Rhythm from 2017.

Sivakumar Varadarajan's education history includes studying at the Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai from 1978 to 1984, where they earned a CAIIB-Inter in Banking. From 1979 to 1980, they attended the Indian Institute of Bankers and earned a M.Com in Commerce. From 1978 to 1980, they attended Sri Venkateswara University and earned a M Com in Commerce. From 1974 to 1977, they attended St Joseph's College and earned a B.Com in commerce. Additionally, they attended St Joseph's college, trichy from 1974 to 1977 and earned a B Com in Commerce.
