Randy Ma is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Earnest since August 2021, after serving as a Software Engineer at Going Merry from 2018 to August 2021, where Randy contributed to expanding access to life-changing education until the company's acquisition by Earnest/Navient. Prior experience includes roles at Charlesworth Research as a Quant Trader and Software Engineer from 2014 to 2017, leading an algorithmic options trading team and managing software development and trading strategies. Randy also spent two years at Infinium Capital Management focusing on automated market making and algorithmic trading. Earlier career experience at Citadel involved developing equity derivatives pricing and risk software as part of the Financial Technology Associates Program. Randy holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, with a specialization in Computational Finance.
