Laura Guazzelli is an experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity and application security, currently serving as the Director of DevSecOps and Application Security Architect at Early Warning® since April 2020. Prior to this, Laura held the position of Senior Security Engineer at Hitachi Vantara, where responsibilities included conducting vulnerability assessments and integrating security into the software development life cycle. Additional experience includes roles at Pentaho, the University of Florida, and OWASP Foundation, emphasizing expertise in secure development practices, vulnerability management, and training on application security. Laura holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Master's degree in Horticultural Science from the University of Florida, supplemented by a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho.
