Kat Zara is currently a Doctoral Trainee at Through the Looking Glass since September 2024 and serves as a Wellness Ambassador at Earkick, where the role involves engaging with youth audiences to promote self-care through the Earkick app. Previously, Kat worked as a Blogger at Plantifully Living, creating content focused on mental health and personal development, and served as a Program Manager at Right At School, fostering creativity and learning for elementary school students. Experience also includes leadership roles with Talang Dalisay & My State of Mind and advocacy work in the disability community as a Board Member of the Disability Rights Advocacy Committee at UC Davis. Kat has contributed to various educational initiatives and internships, including support roles for youth with disabilities and experience in social media management. Education includes pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology at the University of San Francisco, following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
