Ekaterina Markelova

Adjunct Professor at EADA Business School

Ekaterina Markelova, Ph.D., serves as a Professor in Environmental Sustainability at EADA Business School, teaching various modules on sustainability topics within the "Master in Sustainable Business and Innovation" program. With a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of Waterloo, Ekaterina also fulfills the role of Thesis Tutor, guiding students on projects related to carbon and water footprint. In addition to academic responsibilities at Samara State Aerospace University, where courses on Environmental Metrics of Sustainable Business are taught, Ekaterina is the Chief Sustainability Officer at Nanoresonance Industries and has contributed to educational projects with National Geographic and other institutions. Notably, Ekaterina has developed content for the All-Russian Olympiad on Green Energy and has spoken at conferences, emphasizing the importance of sustainability expertise in business practices.
