Karin Firoza is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. As a co-founder at Roots&Wings Training and Consultation since December 2013, Karin has facilitated training and consultation services. At Boston University, from March 2021 to March 2023, Karin served as Director of Special Projects in the Provost's Office, focusing on integrating strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives. Previous roles include Associate Provost of Community & Inclusion ad interim and Director of the Center for Intercultural Engagement at Northeastern University. Karin also has experience as a union organizer with AFSCME MD and as a community organizer for Andolan, along with early career experience as an intern at Social Accountability International. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University and a B.A. in Economics and Religion from Wellesley College.
