Hlukano Ford has a comprehensive work experience in the healthcare industry. In 2005, they started their career at Parallon Business Solutions as a Clinical Appeal Analyst, where they identified and corrected coding and documentation issues and managed collections follow-up. Hlukano also supervised and trained new employees. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Piedmont Healthcare as a Revenue Cycle Representative, specializing in Medicare and Cigna. Hlukano reviewed reports and implemented changes to improve profitability and resolved coding and billing issues.
From 2015 to 2016, Ford worked at Meridian Internal Medicine and Primary Care as a Billing Coordinator. In this role, they led revenue cycle projects, enforced policies, and managed the front office and billing staff. Hlukano also handled insurance documentation, coding, billing, and collections.
After that, Ford worked at several other companies in various roles. At American Pathology Partners, Inc. in 2017, they were a Pathology Denials Analyst. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at ettain group as an IS Ambulatory Revenue Cycle Analyst Consultant. Hlukano then moved to Emory Healthcare in 2017 as a Medicare IME Consultant. In the same year, they joined TruBridge as a Medicare Denials Analyst.
In 2018, Ford worked at Atos and later joined e4 as a Senior Revenue Cycle Operations Consultant, where they currently work. Overall, Ford has gained valuable experience in revenue cycle operations, consulting, denials analysis, and healthcare administration throughout their career.
Hlukano Ford attended Kendrick High School from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Health Occupations. Additionally, in June 2021, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from MSI.
