Jonny Peters is a seasoned professional in the field of climate policy and international relations, currently serving as Chief of Staff and Senior Policy Advisor for Trade and Climate at E3G since November 2021. Prior to this role, Jonny held multiple positions at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) from October 2018 to November 2021, including Senior Policy Advisor focusing on EU Climate Policy, and played a key role as Policy Advisor during the UN Climate Action Summit. Experience also includes serving as Programme Manager for International Climate and Energy at the Department for Exiting the European Union, and earlier roles at the UK Permanent Representation to the EU and the European Parliament. Jonny's educational background includes a Master of Arts in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Politics from The University of Sheffield.
