Beth Walker is a Senior Policy Advisor at E3G since December 2023, with previous experience as Head of Negotiation Strategy and Policy and Strategy Lead at the Department for Business and Trade from March 2021 to December 2023. Prior to this, Beth served as Editor and Programme Director of The Third Pole, and Managing Editor at China Dialogue from September 2011 to February 2021. Beth's earlier roles include Commissioning Editor at Minority Rights Group, Programme Officer at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, and China Analyst at Trusted Sources. Academically, Beth holds an MSc in Development Management from The London School of Economics, a degree in Music and Ethnomusicology from Yunnan Arts Institute, and a 1st class BA (hons) in Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford.
