Owais Ahmed Amin-MEng is a Control Software Engineer at e-STORAGE since April 2024, previously serving as an Application Engineer at e-Zinc where innovative energy storage with zinc technology was developed. Owais has extensive experience in renewable energy as an Application Engineer in the Renewable Division at WESCO Distribution, providing technical support for projects across Canada. This role followed a Graduate Trainee position that involved project quotations and engineering work package management for significant electrical distribution projects. Owais also completed a Praktikum in Elektrotechnik at Easy Smart Grid in Germany, focused on SmartGrid algorithms, and held an internship at Growing Greener Innovations, working on advanced battery management technology. Prior experience includes an Application Engineer role at Reon Energy Limited, overseeing solar project design and management. Owais holds an MEng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a BEng from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
