Karim Michel Sabbagh is managing director of Europe and the Middle East at E-Space. He is responsible for driving the regional business strategy and operations, which includes leading efforts around corporate development, technical advancement and manufacturing best practices. Karim also partners with E-Space Founder, Chairman and CEO, Greg Wyler, on defining key global programs, operational actions and general management functions to grow the Company.
Karim has an extensive history of proven success in the space sector. He was the former President and CEO of SES, Chairman of SES ASTRA and a member of the Board of Directors of O3b Networks, prior to its acquisition by SES. While at SES, Karim was recognized for building a world-class space organization with admirable strategic focus, leadership and space capabilities. He joined SES from the global consulting firm Booz & Co. where he served as global practice leader for communication, media and technology.
Karim has authored and co-authored numerous white papers and op-eds on strategy, technology and socio-economic development. His expertise has led him to serve on several boards covering public and private companies, holdings, start-ups and business advocacy groups. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors to the Portulans Institute, which focuses on technology competitiveness, innovation readiness and global talent as well as the Academic Council for Écoles des Ponts Business School in France.
