Michael Hanias is a distinguished academic currently serving as a Professor and Director of the Solid State Physics, Electronics & Nanotechnology Lab at Democritus University of Thrace since March 2024. Previously, Michael held the position of Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and served as an Associate Professor at the International Hellenic University from January 2018 to April 2024. Michael's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Solid State Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In addition to academic roles, Michael also serves as President of the Supervisory Scientific Council of Model and Experimental Schools of the Central Greece Region.
