Robin Thandiackal is an experienced Optimization Engineer at E Ink Corporation since June 2023 and has served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University since August 2018, where notable work includes designing a deep learning image segmentation algorithm and quantifying the energetics of live turning fish. Previously, Robin was a Quantitative Modelling Engineer at RSN Risk Solution Network AG and a PhD student at EPFL, focusing on locomotion control and robotic systems. Early career experience includes a role as a Software Developer at Sensirion. Robin holds a PhD in Robotics from EPFL, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Education also includes the Swiss Maturity Diploma in Physics and Applied Mathematics from Kantonsschule am Burggraben St. Gallen.
