Steve Bedard, ARM-P is an experienced risk and safety professional currently serving as a Risk and Safety Specialist at E-470 Public Highway Authority since July 2024. Prior to this role, Steve spent over 22 years as the Risk Manager for the Town of Parker, Colorado, where responsibilities included developing and managing a comprehensive Loss Control, Safety, and Risk Management Program. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Operations for Safety Counselling, Inc., where safety audits and training were conducted for numerous clients, and as Fire Inspector/Safety Manager at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, focusing on fire and safety programs. Additionally, Steve dedicated 20 years to the US Air Force, culminating in the role of Deputy Fire Chief after extensive experience in fire protection and manpower management engineering. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Columbia College, as well as an Associate of Science in Personnel Management from the University of Maryland.
