Rishit Bansal is a Senior Software Engineer at MIT Media Lab since June 2023, contributing to the development of CoCo. As a Principal Software Engineer and founding team member at dyte, Rishit has played a crucial role in architectural decisions and backend development, particularly for microservices and algorithms managing video calls. Rishit has participated as a speaker at notable conferences, including RTC.On 2023 and NullCon Goa 2023, sharing insights on WebRTC call recording engineering and reverse engineering drivers for Linux. In previous roles, Rishit held leadership positions such as Vice Chair of the Computer Society of India - VIT Student Chapter and led event organization, including India's largest student hackathon. Rishit also completed internships at Vicara and Sasken Technologies, focusing on web applications and autonomous systems, respectively. Rishit earned a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology (2018-2022).
