Gene Davis is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Distinguished Engineer at ControlRooms.ai since August 2021, Gene focuses on advancing operational technology observability. Prior to this, Gene co-founded Splice Machine, where the company developed a scalable relational database capable of handling complex workloads and real-time machine learning. Additional roles include VP of Products at Clio Music, VP of Product Development at SeeSaw Networks and Blue Martini Software, and VP of Engineering at PeopleSoft. Gene holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Stanford University, along with a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
