Maartje Gerretsen is an experienced impact producer and coordinator with a diverse background in documentary filmmaking and social initiatives. Currently serving as an impact producer at Combiwel Buurtwerk and as a coordinator for Voor Elkaar in Zuid at Dynamo, Maartje has also operated as a self-employed owner focusing on radio documentaries, executive production, research, and project coordination since 2008. Notable projects include the documentary "The Tailor of the Sultan," where Maartje held roles as researcher and executive producer. Additionally, Maartje has contributed to various organizations, including co-founding Stichting Syrische Vrijwilligers Nederland and serving as project coordinator for initiatives supporting refugees and language learning. Maartje's academic background includes a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with ongoing education at IDFAcademy.
