John Fraser is a distinguished legal professional currently serving as a Member at Dykema since August 2021 and as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where the focus is on teaching Medical Marijuana and the Law. With a robust background in cannabis law, John led the Cannabis Practice Group at Grewal Law from September 2017 to August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Attorney at White Law PLLC and as a law clerk, where legal research and drafting for various legal matters were key responsibilities. Academic contributions include serving as a Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University College of Law and editorial work with the Michigan State Law Review. An accomplished graduate, John earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.), summa cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), cum laude, from Central Michigan University.
