Katerina Gorinskaia has a diverse work experience in the field of image processing and machine learning. In 2017, they completed a summer internship at Unwired Devices, where they programmed an embedded humidity sensor and designed a new sensor model. Later that year, they participated in the SAMSUNG IoT Academy, where they worked on the design and development of IoT devices and a connected object management application. In 2019, Katerina worked as a Machine Learning Intern at LIP6 - Laboratoire d'Informatique Sorbonne Université/CNRS. Katerina'sresponsibilities in this role are not specified.
Most recently, Katerina joined DXO as an Image Processing Intern in 2020, where they focused on super-resolution techniques. Katerina conducted research on deep learning architectures for super-resolution, implemented and trained GAN models using Tensorflow 2, and evaluated the quality and computational complexity of their proposals. In the same year, they transitioned to the role of an Image Processing Engineer at DXO, although the duration of this role is ongoing and not specified.
Katerina Gorinskaia completed their undergraduate education at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2015 to 2018. Katerina obtained a Bachelor's degree, known as Licentiate, in the field of Electronics, Electrical Energy, and Automation. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree at Sorbonne University from 2018 to 2020. Katerina'sMaster's degree is in Sciences de l'Ingénieur - Image et Son pour les Systèmes Intelligents, focusing on Engineering Sciences, Image, and Sound for Intelligent Systems.
