Joel Ureña is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations management and quality control within the retail and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as the Country Operations Manager at Duty Free Americas since June 2022, Joel previously held the position of Branch Manager at Centro Cuesta Nacional from June 2011 to May 2022, where responsibilities included planning and overseeing departmental operations. Additional experience includes teaching as a Chef Instructor at Instituto Tecnico Superior Comunitario, managing store operations at Krispy Kreme, and supporting food and beverage services at Sivory Punta Cana, a prestigious hotel. Joel holds a Master's degree in Tourism and Business Management from Universidad Nebrija and a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Universidad Iberoamericana.
