Maarten Engelen is an experienced entrepreneur and technology leader currently serving as a Venture Partner at DFF (Dutch Founders Fund) since April 2024, and as Chief Product Officer at Vio.com since April 2022. Engelen has been a Founding Investor at YourCampus since February 2021 and previously held the position of CTO and Co-Founder at Hiber from June 2016 to February 2022, where the company focused on delivering Industrial IoT solutions via satellite connectivity. Prior to that, Engelen founded and served as CTO at Treatwell.com, the leading European marketplace for beauty and health services, from November 2012 to May 2016. Engelen's entrepreneurial journey also includes co-founding multiple companies such as Siteworkers, ElasticSite, and Centereo, as well as owning XS Networks BV and Iridia ICT Services. Educational background includes studies at Utrecht University and the University of Amsterdam, along with attendance at Johan van Oldenbarnevelt Gymnasium.
