Mayurika Prabu has extensive experience in administrative and management roles spanning various organizations. Currently serving as an Executive Assistant at the Durham Catholic District School Board since June 2017, Mayurika has managed operational functions, specifically within Human Resource Services since November 2018. Previous positions include Executive Director at the Centre for Leadership and Innovation, where responsibilities included policy execution and staff management. Additionally, Mayurika has served as Executive Assistant-Advancement at the University of Toronto Schools, and held various administrative roles at the University of Toronto and TTC. Mayurika's earlier career features positions in customer service and human resources, notably with UNICEF Sri Lanka and Ceylinco Buildings Society Limited. Mayurika holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from the Postgraduate Institute of Management and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Colombo. Ongoing education at Seneca Polytechnic focuses on HRM and Occupational Health and Safety.
