Yang Wang is an experienced scientist and educator with a robust background in physics and materials science. As an Adjunct Faculty member in the Physics Department at Duquesne University since January 2010, Yang Wang combines academic and research pursuits. Current positions include Scientist roles at Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Center for Defect Physics and Carnegie Mellon University's Center of Multiscale Modeling for Engineering Materials, both initiated in 2009 and 2008, respectively. Additionally, Yang Wang serves as a Senior Computational Scientist at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center since 1996. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Theoretical Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
