Robert Bauer currently serves as Clinical Adjunct Faculty at Duquesne University, where responsibilities include supporting students in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program since January 2023. With extensive experience at UPMC since April 2006, Robert holds multiple roles including Associate ICU Director of the Magee Adult ICU and Co-Director for APP Education in the Department of Critical Care Medicine, alongside supervisory duties for Advanced Practice Providers. Additional experience includes roles as a Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Medicine, as well as earlier positions as a Clinician and Registered Nurse. Robert Bauer's educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in progress, alongside previous master's and bachelor's degrees in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, Robert serves as a soccer referee for PIAA since August 2005.
