Dr. Bridgette Sullivan-Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and sectors. Currently, they serve as the Strategy & SHE Risk Manager at KiwiRail, where they specialize in dealing with complex and wicked problems, regulatory compliance thought leadership, risk analysis, and advisory services.

In addition to their role at KiwiRail, Dr. Sullivan-Taylor is also a Strategic Risk Advisor at dss+ and a Boardmember & Secretary at CP - SAG Crowded Places Special Advisory Group. At dss+, they focus on strategic risk management, while at CP - SAG, they contribute to informing national security risk-related policies and practices.

Dr. Sullivan-Taylor has extensive experience in academia as well. Dr Bridgette has been associated with the University of Auckland - Business School since 2014, initially as a Research Fellow in Information Systems & Operations Management and later as a Strategy Research Fellow in Management & International Business. Dr Bridgette has also served in various capacities such as Executive Education & Auckland MBA Alumni Club (AMBAAC) Webinar Series - Strategic Management, UABS Board of Post-Graduate Studies, and Strategy & International Business Senior Lecturer.

Outside of academia, Dr. Sullivan-Taylor is a member of the European Institute of Compliance and Ethics (EICE). Dr Bridgette is also a Specialist Reviewer for the University of Warwick and an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the University of Canterbury's Business School.

Furthermore, they contribute to the field of risk management and policy through their roles as a Board Member and Judge for RiskNZ's Awards of Excellence. Dr Bridgette is also an Economic & Public Policy Research Affiliate at MOTU, where they conduct research on complex social and environmental issues.

Lastly, Dr. Sullivan-Taylor is an Associate at the Global Risk Consultancy Group (GRC), where they leverage their expertise in risk management.

Dr. Bridgette Sullivan-Taylor has an extensive education history. Dr Bridgette first pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Management & Marketing from the University of Otago, which they completed from 1988 to 1991. Following that, they enrolled at The University of Auckland from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Master of Commerce (MCom) degree with a focus on Management Studies & Labour Relations.

Dr. Sullivan-Taylor continued their education at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and earned a Ph.D. in Management & International Business from 1998 to 2003. Building upon their academic achievements, they pursued a Post-Doctorate degree in International Business, Strategy, and International Relations at the same institution from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their degrees, Dr. Sullivan-Taylor also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional, Continuing, and Higher Education (PGCPCE(HE)) from the University of Warwick in 2006 and 2007.

Beyond their formal education, Dr. Sullivan-Taylor has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In January 2023, they completed a course in Public Speaking, Communications & Performance from Trinity College London. Dr Bridgette also completed a Mental Health Course from the New Zealand Red Cross in April 2023. Additionally, they earned two certificates as a volunteer for FIFA, specifically the FIFA Women's World Cup Volunteer Certificate in May 2023 and the FIFA WWCup Volunteer Certificate in July 2023.
