Ruud Scheerder is the founder and consultant at RS Sustainability, established in January 2018, focusing on helping companies and public organizations achieve sustainable and circular objectives through project management, procurement, and product development. Currently serving as a circular buyer for Gemeente Lelystad and as a sustainable procurement & social return coordinator for Duo+, Ruud has also held interim project management roles for various municipalities and organizations, including Gemeente Rotterdam and ProRail. In addition, Ruud is a member of the Technical Committee "Circular textile" at NEN and has extensive educational qualifications from institutions such as Erasmus University Rotterdam and NEVI, specializing in sustainable public procurement and best value procurement.
