Franziska Passing has a strong background in engineering, with experience in various roles at different companies. They started their career as a Back End Developer at Microsoft To-Do (formerly Wunderlist) in 2014, where they worked until 2016. In 2017, they joined Mapbox as a Platform Engineer, transitioning to the role of Security Engineer from 2019 to 2020. Following this, Franziska moved to Klarna in 2021, working as a Senior Security Engineer until 2022. Currently, they are a Senior Operations Engineer at Duolingo, starting in December 2022.
From 2009 to 2014, Franziska Passing attended the University of St Andrews, where they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science.
