Karen Hammond is a seasoned professional in health and human services administration, currently serving as Senior Director at Dungarvin since November 2014. Previously, Karen held the role of Administrator at ResCare from October 2012 to November 2014 and served as Senior Administrator at Boston Health Care Systems for nearly 17 years, from May 1995 to October 2012. Starting career as a Program Coordinator at Cooperating Community Programs, Inc. from September 1989 to May 1995, Karen has extensive experience in program management and administration. Educationally, Karen earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Health and Human Services Administration from St. Mary's University of Minnesota between 2011 and 2013, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in French Language Teacher Education from the University of Iowa from 1984 to 1989, following a diploma from East High School in Sioux City, Iowa.
