Jeanine Benson is an accomplished transport professional with extensive experience in the industry. Currently, Jeanine serves as the Group Manager Transport at Dunedin City Council since February 2020. Jeanine has previously held significant roles at KiwiRail from 2011 to 2020, including GM Operations South Island, Network Services Manager, and Senior Projects Manager. Jeanine also served as Acting Technical Manager AIFS at Auckland Regional Transport Authority in 2010-2011. Earlier in the career, Jeanine worked as an Associate at Booz & Company, a Consultant for both KiwiRail and HSL Zuid, and held the position of Regional Manager at TranzRail. Jeanine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Linguistics from the University of Otago.
